ArtBridge

Art is a rich means of self-expression and its value as a pastime that enriches the mind is immeasurable. However, opportunities to become familiar with art are largely determined by the environment in which one was born and raised. Based on the concept of "bringing another joy to everyday life," this project aims to provide children with opportunities to encounter art in a more familiar way.

About

Each child with developmental disabilities has different symptoms and requires individualized support. However, with limited resources, support activities must inevitably focus on concrete results that lead to practical benefits, and it is sometimes difficult to pay sufficient attention to the children's diverse hobbies and interests.

We have focused on the rich diversity of art and its power to move people beyond language. Art is a medium that reflects the infinite individuality of each artist, and we believed that this diversity could make it more receptive to the individual interests and tastes of children with developmental disabilities. Furthermore, by utilizing art as a means of communication and reinforcer during free operant, for example, we aim to integrate practical learning with cultural enjoyment.

Through the "Art Bridge" project, we will use the power of art to provide children with rich learning and living experiences, creating opportunities for them to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. This project proposes to use art books and art museum/museum exhibition magazines to stimulate children's interests and sensibilities.

We will offer our materials as a gift to all institutions interested in this endeavor. Please check the details and join us.
